Linear Compression Pump

Linear Compression Pumps are designed to provide the user with a versatile and accurate portioning system for free-flowing liquids and sauces. The system comprises of a series of compressible Marprene tubes laid upon a solid stainless steel bed. The tubes are fed with product from a common hopper and can discharge to any existing or proposed process conveyor or system.

A chain driven series of compression rollers are passed over the tubes, which compress the tubes and create flow of the product along their length towards the discharge nozzle. The output volume of each depositing nozzle is limited only by the time available to effect the deposit.

The system configuration, including drive gear, tube diameter and number of tubes, can be configured to suit individual customer requirements.

The System operated via a Human Machine Interface (HMI). The HMI gives the operator the facility to adjust the most common parameters within the system, such as, depositing speed, volume of deposit, amount of product suction etc. A product selection menu gives the operator the facility to create and save these recipes for each product to be deposited.

There is a constant running agitator unit within the hopper to ensure any granular additives within the product are kept in total  suspension. The agitator will automatically reverse every thirty seconds to minimise any settlement within the hopper. The shape of the hopper has been manufactured to minimise any points for entrapment of any sediment.

Three modes have been provided for the main drive;

Auto - Initiation of cycle from deposit track

Manual - For Priming the system or check weigh (One Shot Button)

Cleaning - System runs for programmed cycle of thirty seconds (HMI will display count down display)

The agitator drive can be switched on or off as required.
